When Donato Crispo fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético Boca Junior's protests and gave Donato Crispo a yellow card for diving instead. Donato Crispo kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Aureliano Madaleno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejandro Bernabel in the 24th minute of the match. Alejandro Bernabel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aureliano Madaleno read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. In the 65th minute of the game, Esteban Galtero landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arsenio Acosta during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Medallones de Pollo FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Arsenio Acosta hit a great ball. Donato Crispo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Donato Crispo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club Atlético Boca Junior's Donato Crispo got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mateo Urtsua took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aureliano Madaleno. Aureliano Madaleno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Mateo Urtsua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aureliano Madaleno having to interfere. If Donato Crispo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club Atlético Boca Junior's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
