When Uriel Bembe fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Leona Enleonada's protests and gave Uriel Bembe a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th match minute, La Leona Enleonada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uriel Bembe to maneuver through the defense. Cleto Etxepare could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Americo Mede made a huge save. Cecilio Flores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jose Pietro's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. 20 minutes into the match, La Leona Enleonada's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Muno came free, but Americo Mede reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jose Pietro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Cecilio Flores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cleto Etxepare's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Americo Mede read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. La Leona Enleonada's Americo Mede played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Muno in the 31st minute of play. Americo Mede was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ismael Muno showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 32 minute of play. Jesus Rosario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Braulio Elequemedo might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cecilio Flores. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Braulio Elequemedo ran back to his position shaking his head. Cecilio Flores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jose Pietro's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. After 42 minutes, Jose Pietro made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Palomitas's Cecilio Flores tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half La Leona Enleonada were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jose Pietro made a kick off. Cecilio Flores was a little too slow when Raul Benet got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 1-3. When Jose Pietro came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the La Leona Enleonada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jose Pietro couldn't finish the play. Mateo Galsino hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. If Mateo Galsino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cosme Solustiano hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Jesus Rosario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Cecilio Flores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, La Leona Enleonada's Jose Pietro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cecilio Flores narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 91st match minute, La Leona Enleonada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesus Rosario to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle sounded La Leona Enleonada left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Palomitas.
