Antiborrachos's Gavino Aurken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Berart in the 14th minute of play. After 17 played minutes, Antiborrachos's Ruben Txaran shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Amador Quico came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Antiborrachos reached it. Edgard Berart struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Gavino Aurken didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Herrera. With 22 minutes on the clock, Ezequiel Orixe commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 21st minute, one of Herrera:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Herrera. Tobias Abancens walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Baldomero Galo made a kick off. After 52 minutes, Ulises Oriol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Antiborrachos and the Herrera players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ulises Oriol hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Antiborrachos would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
