After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Alvaro Tohias managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Dilo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvaro Tohias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saturnino Henric breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Isidoro Hitzeder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marco Cedro to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 56 minutes, Marco Cedro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gastre FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Cedro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Tohias in the 68th minute of play forced Gastre FC's goalkeeper Saturnino Henric to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alvaro Tohias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the match, El Dilo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Cedro came free, but Amado Román reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saturnino Henric made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Hitzeder in the 88th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gastre FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 90th minute. Penalty! A collision led to El Dilo FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Oscar Ferrando hit a great ball. When Gastre FC's Marco Cedro in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Dilo FC's goalie prevented a goal. Isidoro Hitzeder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isidoro Hitzeder blasted a shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Saturnino Henric having to make a save. 99 minutes into the match, El Dilo FC's Isidoro Hitzeder sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Saturnino Henric narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the El Dilo FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
