Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aristides Jurdan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aristides Jurdan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edelmiro Oxarra having to interfere. After some careless play in the La Chota fc defense, Ulises Mantzio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edelmiro Oxarra. The La Chota fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edelmiro Oxarra should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, La Chota fc's Justo Ignado got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute, La Chota fc's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ulises Mantzio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Timoteo Lastur kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th minute of the match Vicente Polo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edelmiro Oxarra skillfully saved the ball. In the 71st minute Aristides Jurdan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edelmiro Oxarra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edelmiro Oxarra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Jurdan in the 75th minute of the match. Fabricio Rufo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aristides Jurdan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Edelmiro Oxarra came out and tried to block the shot, but Aristides Jurdan slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 81st minute. If Ulises Mantzio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aristides Jurdan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in La Chota fc's zone, Ulises Mantzio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edelmiro Oxarra came out of the goal and Ulises Mantzio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Leguizamón FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
