The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Bustinza FC's Nemesio Lugo got a free kick in the 8th minute. After having played for 19 minutes, Marco Boni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bustinza FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Boni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 32nd minute, Alfonso Nastasio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bustinza FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Alfonso Nastasio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Abechuco having to interfere. After having played for 36 minutes, Marco Boni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bustinza FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Boni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Maza AFC's goalkeeper Gustavo Abechuco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marco Boni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Abechuco having to interfere. 48 minutes into the match, Bustinza FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Fidensio came free, but Eustaquio Otsoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

If Ernesto Fidensio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgard Formerio scored 1-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eustaquio Otsoa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Maza AFC's Gustavo Abechuco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Boni in the 68th minute of play. With a little luck, Maza AFC's Gustavo Abechuco got control of the ball when Alfonso Nastasio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eustaquio Otsoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Formerio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustavo Abechuco was a little too slow when Marco Boni got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Boni in the 86th minute of play forced Maza AFC's goalkeeper Gustavo Abechuco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute, Cayetano Galindo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute of the match Maza AFC got a corner. Bustinza FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jonas Belmiro ran over to the corner to take the kick. Alfonso Nastasio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Gustavo Abechuco when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 97 minutes, Edgard Formerio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maza AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgard Formerio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Bustinza FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
