Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cirilo Vincent started the match with the kick off. When Victorino Bixintxo came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Sandoria FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victorino Bixintxo couldn't finish the play. A collision led to California Sun FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Jairo Orlin hit a great ball. In the 8thth minute of the game Celedonio Gipuzkoa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but California Sun FC's Marco Galindo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Jairo Gonzalez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cipriano Ubendu kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Clodoveo Argenis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cirilo Vincent in the 15th minute of play. Clodoveo Argenis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jairo Gonzalez in the 20th minute. If Celedonio Gipuzkoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the match, Sandoria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Orlin came free, but Clodoveo Argenis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Sandoria FC's goalkeeper Clodoveo Argenis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jairo Gonzalez. The supporters of California Sun FC booed when Sandoria FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Oxel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when California Sun FC's Cirilo Vincent in the 37th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Clodoveo Argenis was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Sandoria FC through an amazing save. In the 39th minute Cirilo Vincent shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clodoveo Argenis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clodoveo Argenis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cirilo Vincent, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of California Sun FC booed when Sandoria FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cipriano Ubendu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clodoveo Argenis made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Jairo Gonzalez sent off a good shot on target. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victorino Bixintxo was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Gonzalez in the 53rd minute of play forced Sandoria FC's goalkeeper Clodoveo Argenis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clodoveo Argenis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cirilo Vincent, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Sandoria FC's zone, Cirilo Vincent stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clodoveo Argenis came out of the goal and Cirilo Vincent tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 59 minutes into the match, Victorino Bixintxo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marco Galindo, 0-1. Victorino Bixintxo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 66 minutes, Lucio Bihar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. California Sun FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucio Bihar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, California Sun FC's Jairo Gonzalez got a free kick in the 68th minute. When Jairo Orlin fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored California Sun FC's protests and gave Jairo Orlin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th minute, Gogo Dantae hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cirilo Vincent had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cirilo Vincent's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clodoveo Argenis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Matias Montrell kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Jairo Gonzalez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Jairo Gonzalez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 98 minutes, Jairo Orlin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. California Sun FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jairo Orlin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cirilo Vincent fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clodoveo Argenis having to interfere.
