The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cayetano Galindo helped the player get up and apologised. If David Ihazintu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the match, Gaudencio Paez notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Bustinza FC's Eustaquio Otsoa. Eustaquio Otsoa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bustinza FC's Eustaquio Otsoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Ihazintu in the 31st minute of play. Gaudencio Paez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eustaquio Otsoa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Ihazintu's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Bustinza FC's Eustaquio Otsoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Ihazintu in the 40th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Ihazintu in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eustaquio Otsoa saved Bustinza FC from getting behind. Gaudencio Paez struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Eustaquio Otsoa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mar del Plata Club. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell David Ihazintu to make the kick off. When David Ihazintu came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Mar del Plata Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Ihazintu couldn't finish the play. Adan Gaskon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Boni in the 57th minute of play. Eustacio Frances hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. David Ihazintu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustaquio Otsoa having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Bustinza FC's zone, David Ihazintu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eustaquio Otsoa came out of the goal and David Ihazintu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. David Ihazintu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, David Ihazintu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mar del Plata Club's supporters rose to their feet, but David Ihazintu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eustaquio Otsoa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mar del Plata Club's David Ihazintu got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bustinza FC's Cayetano Galindo got his second yellow card of the match in the 85th minute. The referee ordered Cayetano Galindo off the ground. After 86 played minutes Bustinza FC got a freekick which was hit by Cayetano Galindo. In the 90th match minute, Mar del Plata Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damaso Pedroso to maneuver through the defense. Gaudencio Paez kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Eustaquio Otsoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaudencio Paez in the 94th minute of the match. Eustaquio Otsoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Ihazintu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mar del Plata Club walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
