Elpidio Noe might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Clodoveo Argenis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elpidio Noe ran back to his position shaking his head. If Elpidio Noe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Villa Traful FC's Tomás Furtado got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Clodoveo Argenis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaias Bermudez in the 17th minute of the match. After 18 played minutes Sandoria FC got a freekick which was hit by Matias Montrell. Atilano Goren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clodoveo Argenis having to interfere. Elpidio Noe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Clodoveo Argenis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the game, Atilano Goren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Clodoveo Argenis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 27th minute, Isaias Bermudez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clodoveo Argenis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After having played for 30 minutes, Marciano Beltran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villa Traful FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marciano Beltran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Noe in the 31st minute of play forced Sandoria FC's goalkeeper Clodoveo Argenis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clodoveo Argenis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaias Bermudez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elpidio Noe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Clodoveo Argenis having to make a save. After the first half Villa Traful FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isaias Bermudez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 72nd minute Cipriano Ubendu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cirilo Beltxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Villa Traful FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
