Cirilo Vincent succeeded in the game's 9th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. In the 13th minute Cirilo Vincent shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustaquio Otsoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Bustinza FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cirilo Vincent came free, but Eustaquio Otsoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bustinza FC's Silvestre Maties shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 18th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Marco Galindo but with some difficulty. In the 24th minute Cirilo Vincent shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustaquio Otsoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roberto Tano hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Eustaquio Otsoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cirilo Vincent, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jairo Orlin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustaquio Otsoa having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marco Boni made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Vincent in the 59th minute of play forced Bustinza FC's goalkeeper Eustaquio Otsoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jairo Gonzalez got free with Eustaquio Otsoa in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of California Sun FC booed when Bustinza FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nemesio Lugo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 62 minutes, Jairo Gonzalez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. California Sun FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jairo Gonzalez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 67th minute, Nemesio Lugo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cirilo Vincent fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustaquio Otsoa having to interfere. But to his dismay, Jairo Gonzalez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. If Jairo Gonzalez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Eustaquio Otsoa managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when California Sun FC's Jairo Gonzalez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jairo Gonzalez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustaquio Otsoa having to interfere. Eustaquio Otsoa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cirilo Vincent's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. California Sun FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
