Hipolito Che showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ildefonso Escobar, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. A collision led to De Floresta Vengo FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Felipe Estebano hit a great ball. Hipolito Che stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paolo Berenguer's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. After having played for 39 minutes, Ildefonso Escobar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quilmes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ildefonso Escobar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alfredo Cordero kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Hipolito Che took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ildefonso Escobar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ildefonso Escobar to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filomeno Faron in the 54th minute of play forced Quilmes FC's goalkeeper Sergio Cresencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of De Floresta Vengo FC booed when Quilmes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Jaume didn't get a good kick on the ball.
