Candido Sansone recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Casaca Albiceleste's Zacarias Ereinotz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Casaca Albiceleste from getting a goal against them. Anacleto Austin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Candido Sansone, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Zacarias Ereinotz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Jurgi in the 26th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ramon Gaskon got free with Zacarias Ereinotz in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Citizens booed when Casaca Albiceleste was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartolo Erdiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Ramon Gaskon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Citizens's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramon Gaskon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zacarias Ereinotz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Saturnino Sayveon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 38th minute, Saturnino Sayveon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anacleto Austin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. When Ramon Gaskon came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Citizens fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramon Gaskon couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Casaca Albiceleste's zone, Ramon Gaskon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zacarias Ereinotz came out of the goal and Ramon Gaskon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Citizens players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Casaca Albiceleste were winning 0-3.

After 53 minutes Citizens's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nicanor Caitano who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Nicanor Caitano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Citizens's Anacleto Austin did a great save. If Saturnino Sayveon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bartolo Erdiano hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Zacarias Ereinotz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Gaskon in the 64th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 68th minute by Candido Sansone got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Ramon Gaskon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With 76 minutes on the clock, Nicanor Caitano commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 75th minute of the game. One of Casaca Albiceleste:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Citizens:s goal. Santo Etxepare walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Citizens's Anacleto Austin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Citizens from getting a goal against them. 93 minutes into the match, Citizens's Ramon Gaskon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zacarias Ereinotz narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
