In the 6th minute, Ambrosio Ixaka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Coranzulí's Hilario Bartuelo got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 10 minutes into the match, Coranzulí's Hilario Bartuelo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victorino Ricart narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Hilario Bartuelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute, Uriel Cordareo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gerardo Rocendo. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 18th minute of the match Jonatan Chus sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gerardo Rocendo skillfully saved the ball. After 21 played minutes El Tajamar FC got a freekick which was hit by Jonatan Rocendo. If Uriel Cordareo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gerardo Rocendo came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by El Tajamar FC's Julian Lucado. But to his dismay, Julian Lucado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Victorino Ricart showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hilario Bartuelo in the 29th minute of the match. Gavino Aragones's late challenge caught a El Tajamar FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gavino Aragones helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Coranzulí's Gavino Aragones got a free kick in the 30th minute. With a little luck, Coranzulí's Gerardo Rocendo got control of the ball when Julian Lucado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hilario Bartuelo struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Victorino Ricart didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coranzulí. When Coranzulí's Hilario Bartuelo in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Tajamar FC's goalie prevented a goal. 43 minutes into the match, Uriel Cordareo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gerardo Rocendo. Coranzulí's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Uriel Cordareo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Marcelo Criston fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerardo Rocendo having to interfere. Gerardo Rocendo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Criston in the 53rd minute of the match. Victorino Ricart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hilario Bartuelo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Coranzulí's Gerardo Rocendo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Criston in the 80th minute of play. Gerardo Rocendo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Criston, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes into the match, El Tajamar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hilario Bartuelo came free, but Victorino Ricart reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victorino Ricart made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hilario Bartuelo in the 84th minute of play. After 86 minutes of play Coranzulí's Gavino Aragones was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Gavino Aragones kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. It was beautiful to see El Tajamar FC's Uriel Cordareo in action when he in the 88th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 90th minute Marcelo Criston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerardo Rocendo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The El Tajamar FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
