Spectators: 6805 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ladislao Mateus started the match with the kick off. Rodolfo Meder stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tiburcio Cedro's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. If Tiburcio Cedro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Froilan Cerilo came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Verde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Froilan Cerilo couldn't finish the play. 29 minutes into the match, DELVE FC.'s goal looked a bit too open when Tiburcio Cedro came free, but Rodolfo Meder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 0-2 became the score in the 30th minute when Tiburcio Cedro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 35 played minutes Verde got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Ignazio. In the 43rd minute, one of DELVE FC.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for DELVE FC.. When Tiburcio Cedro came up free with the goalie in the 49th minute, the Verde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiburcio Cedro couldn't finish the play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Froilan Cerilo was the one to do the kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Froilan Cerilo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DELVE FC.'s Rodolfo Meder was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rodrigo Valery showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislao Mateus, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Verde's Anselmo Elia tried to score from far away in the 70th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 72nd minute, Tiburcio Cedro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 76th minute, Ezequiel Senen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of DELVE FC. booed when Verde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Ignazio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Candido Senio during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 79th match minute, Verde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Candido Senio to maneuver through the defense. Dionisio Cristos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rodrigo Valery. Verde's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ladislao Mateus in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodrigo Valery saved Verde from getting behind. Ezequiel Senen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Rodrigo Valery tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodrigo Valery took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Mateus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind DELVE FC.'s goalkeeper Rodolfo Meder, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rodolfo Meder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Froilan Cerilo, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Clemente Rubio kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Tiburcio Cedro took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodolfo Meder. Rodolfo Meder dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4.
