Baldomiro Hunfredo charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Thanks to some nice moves Laureano Ferran could shoot a difficult shot in the 31st minute, which Siro Nuñez however easily saved by the left post. C.A. LIBERTAD were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Almirante Brown's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ivan Artal took the corner. A collision led to Almirante Brown getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Aldo Guillen hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Filomeno Constancio took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Siro Nuñez to make any attempt to save it. Laureano Ferran came free with the goalkeeper in the 46th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Siro Nuñez could save by the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Laureano Ferran made the kick off in the second half. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 51st minute of the game. One of Almirante Brown:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of C.A. LIBERTAD:s goal. Siro Nuñez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laureano Ferran in the 56th minute of play. Siro Nuñez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Laureano Ferran went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Almirante Brown's Siro Nuñez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bryce Sparks in the 62nd minute of play. Laureano Ferran took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Siro Nuñez. Siro Nuñez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. The audience was convinced that Laureano Ferran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Siro Nuñez was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 91 minutes, the score became 6-1 when Ignacio Iratzeder sped through C.A. LIBERTAD's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Silvestre Tano. Ignacio Iratzeder might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silvestre Tano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ignacio Iratzeder ran back to his position shaking his head.
