Conrado Gartzen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidro Deunoro in the 14th minute of the match. Dionisio Justin struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Fausto Abilio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Segba. After 20 minutes, Ismael Burutzagi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Segba and the Gilera players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Segba getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Ismael Burutzagi hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bartolo Solustiano in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Conrado Gartzen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 24 minutes, Jorge Formerio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Segba and the Gilera players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Segba getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Jorge Formerio hit a great ball. If Bartolo Solustiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Isidro Deunoro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Conrado Gartzen was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. A collision led to Segba getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Amadeo Cordario hit a great ball. Conrado Gartzen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 40th minute, Robustiano Aguilera reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fausto Abilio. The goal made the score 1-1. Fausto Abilio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Formerio, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Robustiano Aguilera was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Gilera's zone, Robustiano Aguilera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fausto Abilio came out of the goal and Robustiano Aguilera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Segba's Robustiano Aguilera got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robustiano Aguilera in the 58th minute of play forced Gilera's goalkeeper Fausto Abilio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Isidro Deunoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Segba's zone, Isidro Deunoro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Conrado Gartzen came out of the goal and Isidro Deunoro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Bartolo Solustiano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gilera's supporters rose to their feet, but Bartolo Solustiano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Conrado Gartzen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Isidro Deunoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle went the supporters of Gilera were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Segba side.
