Filomeno Constancio scored 1-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fausto Abilio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Silvestre Tano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidro Deunoro in the 25th minute. When Laureano Ferran came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the C.A. LIBERTAD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laureano Ferran couldn't finish the play. Filomeno Constancio scored 1-3 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fausto Abilio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 32 minutes of play, C.A. LIBERTAD's Laureano Ferran made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fausto Abilio was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 35th minute Laureano Ferran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Abilio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C.A. LIBERTAD's Laureano Ferran got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, Gilera's goal looked a bit too open when Filomeno Constancio came free, but Fausto Abilio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute Filomeno Constancio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Abilio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fausto Abilio came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by C.A. LIBERTAD's Albano Peruanton. But to his dismay, Albano Peruanton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Bartolo Solustiano made the kick off in the second half. Silvestre Tano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolo Solustiano in the 51st minute of the match. The supporters of C.A. LIBERTAD booed when Gilera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustaquio Bilbo didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Ivan Artal from long distance, 55 minutes into the match, got Fausto Abilio's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Bryce Sparks blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fausto Abilio having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filomeno Constancio got free with Fausto Abilio in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 63 played minutes Laureano Ferran rounded Gilera's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-6. If Bryce Sparks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albano Peruanton got free with Fausto Abilio in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as C.A. LIBERTAD's Filomeno Constancio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fausto Abilio. That made the score 1-7 after 71 minutes of play. Fausto Abilio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filomeno Constancio in the 76th minute. Ivan Artal's late challenge caught a Gilera's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivan Artal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th minute, Ivan Artal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute of the match Maximo Costante sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silvestre Tano skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Gilera's zone, Bryce Sparks stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fausto Abilio came out of the goal and Bryce Sparks tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 83 minutes into the match, Gilera's goal looked a bit too open when Filomeno Constancio came free, but Fausto Abilio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albano Peruanton got free with Fausto Abilio in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 87 minutes into the match, Gilera's goalkeeper Fausto Abilio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albano Peruanton. If Laureano Ferran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fausto Abilio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laureano Ferran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivan Artal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Abilio having to interfere.
