Ladislao Giro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Delmar Boniel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute there was a penalty for Tumbaya FC. Jonathan Baleren stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ladislao Giro. 0-2. Leopoldo Perrando took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ladislao Giro. Ladislao Giro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. If Leopoldo Perrando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ladislao Giro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Perrando in the 31st minute of the match. Tumbaya FC's Maximino Gonsalve played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristobal Piearres in the 32nd minute of play. After 33 played minutes Tumbaya FC got a freekick which was hit by Gogo Jacob. Leopoldo Perrando hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Maximino Gonsalve showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Romildo in the 39th minute of the match. If Pablo Romildo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot by Justino Totakoxe from long distance, 43 minutes into the match, got Maximino Gonsalve's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Maximino Gonsalve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristobal Piearres in the 45th minute of play. During the 48th minute of the match Pedro Bingen completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Pedro Bingen a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 48 played minutes Gavilán got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Bingen.

Pablo Romildo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Gonsalve having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Tumbaya FC's Jonathan Baleren broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 72nd minute, Manuel Gar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes into the match, Gavilán's goalkeeper Ladislao Giro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacinto Joseph. Gavilán's Nicolas Darien got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ladislao Giro made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Jacinto Joseph sent off a good shot on target. Pablo Romildo's late challenge caught a Tumbaya FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pablo Romildo helped the player get up and apologised.
