Cosme Toli was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 4th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. A collision led to Duendes getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Felix Ibon hit a great ball. Victoriano Gines struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Teobaldo Nafarroa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caballeros de la Angustia. If Albano Nataniel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Victoriano Gines's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teobaldo Nafarroa was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Arnau in the 17th minute of play forced Caballeros de la Angustia's goalkeeper Ceferino Darien to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isidoro Arnau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceferino Darien having to interfere. Caballeros de la Angustia's Albano Nataniel got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Luciano Ordono had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute of the match Duendes got a corner. Caballeros de la Angustia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Haroldo Abreu ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 43 minutes, Isidoro Arnau mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Duendes and the Caballeros de la Angustia players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Duendes's Isidoro Arnau got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Luciano Ordono recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Isidoro Arnau made the kick off in the second half. Isidoro Arnau hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After 57 minutes, Conrado Derwin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Duendes and the Caballeros de la Angustia players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 57th minute, Conrado Derwin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 58 minutes, Albano Nataniel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caballeros de la Angustia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albano Nataniel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 60th match minute, Duendes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicasio Gora to maneuver through the defense. If Victoriano Gines had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes in the game, Albano Nataniel fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Teobaldo Nafarroa having to interfere. Nicasio Gora struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Ceferino Darien didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Duendes. In the 79thth minute of the game Isidoro Arnau who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caballeros de la Angustia's Ceferino Darien was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Teobaldo Nafarroa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albano Nataniel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Ibon kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Duendes's Teobaldo Nafarroa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victoriano Gines in the 82nd minute of play. A collision led to Caballeros de la Angustia getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Godofredo Jesco hit a great ball. Luciano Ordono recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Albano Nataniel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Teobaldo Nafarroa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Duendes had won after a very even match.
