Spectators: 7188 (Terracing: 5393, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 142) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Candido Urtzi started the match with the kick off. 7 minutes into the game, Caroya FC's Saverio Dolfo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Victorio Umbruso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. When Caroya FC's Felix Tebaldo in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Belgrano's goalie prevented a goal. If Saverio Dolfo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Caroya FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Gervasio Nikola hit a great ball. Candido Urtzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Anacleto Onofre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zacarias Nikola kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Belgrano's Victorio Umbruso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Tebaldo in the 25th minute of play. If Felix Tebaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute, Felix Tebaldo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Victorio Umbruso, passed just outside the right post. Felix Tebaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Victorio Umbruso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Candido Urtzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anacleto Onofre having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Felix Tebaldo was the one to do the kick off. Filomeno Chuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saverio Dolfo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorio Umbruso having to interfere. After having played for 57 minutes, Filomeno Chuan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belgrano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filomeno Chuan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gervasio Nikola kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Marciano Rufo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Felix Tebaldo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victorio Umbruso was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Victorio Umbruso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felix Tebaldo went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 75 minutes, Primitivo Satordi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Belgrano and the Caroya FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 75th match minute, Belgrano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Satordi to maneuver through the defense. Candido Urtzi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Victorio Umbruso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felix Tebaldo's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. After 91 minutes, Jeremias Naldo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Belgrano and the Caroya FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 91st match minute, Belgrano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias Naldo to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saverio Dolfo in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victorio Umbruso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Victorio Umbruso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saverio Dolfo in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Caroya FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Belgrano had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
