Spectators: 7096 (Terracing: 5393, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 50) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Felix Tebaldo took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute Felix Tebaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Abarca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Tebaldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20th minute of the match, Silvano Cordero got a very nice opportunity to score, but Anacleto Onofre was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of Lazo FC booed when Caroya FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marciano Rufo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felix Tebaldo during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 24 played minutes Caroya FC got a freekick which was hit by Felix Tebaldo. Manuel Ipar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Anacleto Onofre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Silvano Cordero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lazo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvano Cordero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anacleto Onofre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Severo Gabrio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Abarca having to interfere. A collision led to Lazo FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Eriberto Gurutz hit a great ball. Caroya FC's Saverio Dolfo managed to work through Lazo FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Saverio Dolfo dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manuel Ipar made a kick off. Silvano Cordero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Anacleto Onofre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saverio Dolfo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anacleto Onofre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Ipar, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Manuel Ipar took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anacleto Onofre. Anacleto Onofre dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After 68 minutes, Honorio Dorio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lazo FC and the Caroya FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Honorio Dorio kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. If Saverio Dolfo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saverio Dolfo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee showed Eriberto Gurutz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 83 played minutes Lazo FC got a freekick which was hit by Eriberto Gurutz. Lazo FC's Cristobal Abarca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Tebaldo in the 84th minute of play. Caroya FC's Anacleto Onofre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvano Cordero in the 91st minute of play. If Edelmiro Ciceron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lazo FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Caroya FC for a fine match.
