In the 7th minute, Luciano Ordono ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aureliano Manni was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. If Isidoro Arnau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute, Duendes's Isidoro Arnau ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aureliano Manni. Aureliano Manni yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Arsenio Ricart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Teobaldo Nafarroa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th match minute, Duendes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicasio Gora to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Duendes's Isidoro Arnau sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aureliano Manni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luciano Ordono received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Aureliano Manni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Isidoro Arnau came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Duendes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidoro Arnau couldn't finish the play. If Isidoro Arnau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luciano Ordono during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luciano Ordono kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Aureliano Manni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Arnau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute Raul Iruinea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teobaldo Nafarroa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
The wind increased when Arsenio Ricart made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Caleufú's Teo Matteo got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute, Haroldo Abreu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Caleufú's Aureliano Manni didn't even have to move. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Arsenio Ricart managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caleufú's supporters rose to their feet, but Arsenio Ricart was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teobaldo Nafarroa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Raul Iruinea's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Teobaldo Nafarroa firmly grabbed it by the left post. Aureliano Manni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Arnau in the 60th minute of play. After having played for 64 minutes, Isidoro Arnau managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Duendes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Arnau was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 69th minute, Raul Iruinea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aureliano Manni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Ibon, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Arsenio Ricart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Teobaldo Nafarroa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aureliano Manni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Arnau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isidoro Arnau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felix Ibon hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Conrado Derwin during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 87th match minute, Duendes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Derwin to maneuver through the defense. Caleufú's Aureliano Manni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Ordono in the 90th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benedicto Hanot during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 94th minute of the match Haroldo Abreu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aureliano Manni skillfully saved the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Luciano Ordono notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Caleufú's Aureliano Manni. Aureliano Manni was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that Duendes were the better team. Duendes's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
