The crowd rose to their feet as Caballeros de la Angustia's Albano Nataniel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cristobal Abarca. That made the score 1-0 after 7 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albano Nataniel in the 11th minute of play forced Lazo FC's goalkeeper Cristobal Abarca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Lazo FC's Cristobal Abarca got control of the ball when Victoriano Gines tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristobal Abarca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albano Nataniel in the 13th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Manuel Ipar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 18 minutes, Leandro Havier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caballeros de la Angustia and the Lazo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th match minute, Caballeros de la Angustia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Havier to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the match, Caballeros de la Angustia's goal looked a bit too open when Silvano Cordero came free, but Ceferino Darien reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ceferino Darien didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manuel Ipar went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 53rd minute Caballeros de la Angustia were awarded a corner. Cosme Toli went to the cornerflag to take it. Cosme Toli made a great header on Caballeros de la Angustia's corner, it was just that Lazo FC's Cristobal Abarca managed to reach the ball for a save. Cristobal Abarca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albano Nataniel, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Cristobal Abarca came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Caballeros de la Angustia's Victoriano Gines. But to his dismay, Victoriano Gines quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Albano Nataniel struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Cristobal Abarca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caballeros de la Angustia. The supporters of Caballeros de la Angustia booed when Lazo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andres Rios didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albano Nataniel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Cristobal Abarca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristobal Abarca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victoriano Gines, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 93 played minutes Lazo FC got a freekick which was hit by Silvano Basualdo. In the 96th match minute, Caballeros de la Angustia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albano Nataniel to maneuver through the defense.
