Cuquero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gogo Enaut was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 41 minutes into the match, Føroyar Juniors's Rodrigo Tabby sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adolfo Uxio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rodrigo Tabby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Uxio having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hipolito Guillem was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Rodrigo Tabby could shoot a difficult shot in the 56th minute, which Adolfo Uxio however easily saved by the left post. Placido Ibon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Adolfo Uxio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Placido Ibon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Adolfo Uxio. That made the score 0-3 in the 59 minute of play. Rodrigo Tabby scored 0-4 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adolfo Uxio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 71 played minutes Cuquero got a freekick which was hit by Rosendo Todor. Cuquero's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Placido Ibon scored to the left of an out of position Adolfo Uxio, making the score, 0-5. Rodrigo Tabby could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Adolfo Uxio made a huge save. Cuquero's Adolfo Uxio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Cuquero from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Cuquero's Adolfo Uxio got control of the ball when Rodrigo Tabby tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hipolito Guillem struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Ruben Cesario didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cuquero. In the 90th minute, Gogo Enaut got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Placido Ibon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Føroyar Juniors had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
