In the 12th match minute, Caroya FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Esdras to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arsenio Ricart in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anacleto Onofre prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 15th minute, Conrado Mendiko reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aureliano Manni. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 23rd minute, Saverio Dolfo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aureliano Manni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felix Tebaldo's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. The supporters of Caroya FC booed when Caleufú was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedicto Hanot didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Raul Iruinea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Artemio Osasun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 30th minute of the game. One of Caroya FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Caleufú:s goal. Caroya FC's Saverio Dolfo got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Felix Tebaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Aureliano Manni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

In the 56th minute, Conrado Mendiko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Conrado Mendiko hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. 62 minutes into the match, Caleufú's Feliciano Oliveiro broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Conrado Mendiko's late challenge caught a Caleufú's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Saverio Dolfo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aureliano Manni having to interfere. Felix Tebaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Aureliano Manni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aureliano Manni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrado Mendiko, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After some careless play in the Caleufú defense, Felix Tebaldo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aureliano Manni. The Caleufú fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aureliano Manni should have stopped the shot. If Felix Tebaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aureliano Manni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saverio Dolfo, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Arsenio Ricart recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, Caleufú's Anacleto Onofre threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Artemio Osasun, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 94th minute Saverio Dolfo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliano Manni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Tebaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Caroya FC had played much better football throughout.
