An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Ciceron in the 11th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Leoni's goalkeeper Cornelio Cordearo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the game, Angelo Ciceron cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Cornelio Cordearo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonides Ezkerra in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cornelio Cordearo saved Club Deportivo Leoni from getting behind. Angelo Ciceron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonides Ezkerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornelio Cordearo having to interfere. If Leonides Ezkerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 28 played minutes Club Deportivo Leoni got a freekick which was hit by Blas Lorencio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Ciceron in the 29th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Leoni's goalkeeper Cornelio Cordearo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonides Ezkerra in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cornelio Cordearo saved Club Deportivo Leoni from getting behind. After 34 minutes of play, Los Infernales de Güemes's Rene Rosario made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cornelio Cordearo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 38thth minute of the game Leonides Ezkerra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Deportivo Leoni's Cornelio Cordearo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Angelo Ciceron kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Cornelio Cordearo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Ciceron in the 42nd minute of play. When Leonides Ezkerra came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Los Infernales de Güemes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonides Ezkerra couldn't finish the play. Angelo Ciceron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Cornelio Cordearo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mauro Efren was the one to do the kick off. Melchor Maurino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Octavio Oro's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. After 56 minutes of play, Los Infernales de Güemes's Angelo Ciceron made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cornelio Cordearo was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Angelo Ciceron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonides Ezkerra in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cornelio Cordearo saved Club Deportivo Leoni from getting behind. Club Deportivo Leoni's Cornelio Cordearo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonides Ezkerra in the 69th minute of play. In the 74th minute Rene Rosario suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victor Chus during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Los Infernales de Güemes booed when Club Deportivo Leoni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Chus didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Los Infernales de Güemes's Roman Eneto got a free kick in the 78th minute. Mauro Efren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Leoni's goalkeeper Cornelio Cordearo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonides Ezkerra. If Angelo Ciceron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristo Perico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cristo Perico's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cornelio Cordearo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. When the match was over Los Infernales de Güemes could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Club Deportivo Leoni throughout the match.
