Juventud Liberal's Dario Ellande got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Los Infernales de Güemes's Melchor Maurino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Los Infernales de Güemes from getting a goal against them. Artemio Rufo charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Juventud Liberal's Jorge Arnalt got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Dante Calvet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Melchor Maurino was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Angelo Ciceron struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Nereo Ereinotz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Infernales de Güemes. Juventud Liberal's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dante Calvet in the 80th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Dante Calvet managed to get in a good position for a shot.
