Victorio Emeterio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. newells old boys's Victoriano Bero was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Victorio Emeterio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gogo Ixidor was the one to do the kick off. Victorio Emeterio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gogo Ixidor in the 53rd minute of the match. 57 minutes in the game, Arturo Gombal fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Narciso Koldobika having to interfere. Matheu FC's Victorio Emeterio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gogo Ixidor in the 67th minute of play. Ildefonso Gartzea succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 69th playminute. In the 75th minute, Ildefonso Gartzea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Florentino Guzman charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Florentino Guzman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Florentino Guzman hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. The newells old boys supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Matheu FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Matheu FC.
