The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in BONICH JS's zone, Jesus Llorienzo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruben Martxel came out of the goal and Jesus Llorienzo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Aurelia FC's Alvaro Darien in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BONICH JS's goalie prevented a goal. If Eustacio Silbestre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to BONICH JS getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Diego Uzuri hit a great ball. In the 14th minute, Eustacio Silbestre reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Adan Egun. The goal made the score 1-0. Eustacio Silbestre's late challenge caught a Aurelia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eustacio Silbestre helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th minute, Eustacio Silbestre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ruben Martxel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Darien, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Eustacio Silbestre was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 22 minutes had been played. In the 29thth minute of the game Alvaro Darien who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BONICH JS's Ruben Martxel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Bonifacio Moise fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aurelia FC's protests and gave Bonifacio Moise a yellow card for diving instead. In the 35thth minute of the game Jesus Llorienzo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BONICH JS's Ruben Martxel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Carmelo Sugar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Carmelo Sugar made the kick off in the second half. BONICH JS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Jesus Llorienzo scored to the left of an out of position Ruben Martxel, making the score, 1-2. 57 minutes into the match, BONICH JS's goal looked a bit too open when Jesus Llorienzo came free, but Ruben Martxel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Aurelia FC booed when BONICH JS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Epifanio Domingues didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alvaro Darien fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Martxel having to interfere. BONICH JS's Ruben Martxel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save BONICH JS from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, BONICH JS's Eliseo Erasto got a free kick in the 61st minute. Jesus Llorienzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Ruben Martxel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Aurelia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carmelo Sugar came free, but Adan Egun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Aurelia FC's Silvano Artaldo got a free kick in the 73rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmelo Sugar in the 76th minute of play forced Aurelia FC's goalkeeper Adan Egun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diego Uzuri charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diego Uzuri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 78 played minutes BONICH JS got a freekick which was hit by Diego Uzuri. After some careless play in the BONICH JS defense, Honorio Tohias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ruben Martxel. The BONICH JS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruben Martxel should have stopped the shot. 86 minutes into the game, Alvaro Darien cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Ruben Martxel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, BONICH JS's Ruben Martxel got control of the ball when Alvaro Darien tried to sneak it across the goal line. The BONICH JS manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Aurelia FC to win.
