La Gilada FC's Ezequiel Luix got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ezequiel Luix in the 48th minute of play forced Ongamira AFC's goalkeeper Igor Hechter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arsenio Ganix was the one to do the kick off. Igor Hechter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezequiel Luix, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. La Gilada FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
