The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Olimpus FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Genaro Leheren hit a great ball. Ariel Dei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Aresti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Abelardo Loco took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ariel Dei to make any attempt to save it. If Victorio Estefan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, Victorio Estefan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ariel Dei. Olimpus FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victorio Estefan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Mario Aresti put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ariel Dei. The crowd rose to their feet as GRAN MALVINA's Victorio Estefan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ariel Dei. That made the score 4-0 after 33 minutes of play. Ariel Dei came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by GRAN MALVINA's Victorio Estefan. But to his dismay, Victorio Estefan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mario Aresti made a kick off. When Lázaro Rojelio fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Olimpus FC's protests and gave Lázaro Rojelio a yellow card for diving instead. Lázaro Rojelio hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Ariel Dei didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victorio Estefan went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Mario Aresti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Dei having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Olimpus FC's zone, Herminio Abadia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ariel Dei came out of the goal and Herminio Abadia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 66 minutes into the match, GRAN MALVINA's Mario Aresti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ariel Dei narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Viktor Pindev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lázaro Rojelio in the 68th minute. Edgardo Sagrario hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Olimpus FC's Dario Mitxel shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 72nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Viktor Pindev but with some difficulty. 75 minutes into the match, Olimpus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Victorio Estefan came free, but Ariel Dei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, GRAN MALVINA's Mario Aresti nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ariel Dei made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. After 92 played minutes GRAN MALVINA got a freekick which was hit by Herminio Abadia. GRAN MALVINA's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
