Pucho87's Eugenio Osoro got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Olimpus FC's Joel Modestio got a free kick in the 36th minute. If Ciriaco Peli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. In the 39th minute Eugenio Osoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Dei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ariel Dei prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After 72 minutes, Lucas Saturnin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olimpus FC and the Pucho87 players grew even worse after the yellow card.
