After 6 played minutes, Arrecifes's Arnoldo Ado shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jacobo Veremundo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Arrecifes reached it. If Pablo Hug had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Narciso Estebe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacobo Veremundo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Hug in the 11th minute of the match. Aquilino Peru kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Honorio Weterio, 14 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Aquilino Peru fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pucho87's protests and gave Aquilino Peru a yellow card for diving instead. Aquilino Peru hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Pablo Hug sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 18 minutes into the match, Pablo Hug had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacobo Veremundo. Pucho87's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pablo Hug was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 25th minute Aquilino Peru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Medardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Narciso Estebe notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Pucho87's Jacobo Veremundo. Jacobo Veremundo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Narciso Estebe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute Pablo Hug shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Veremundo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pablo Hug fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Veremundo having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eugenio Osoro was the one to do the kick off. In the 58th minute, Narciso Estebe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 67 minutes, Eloy Bide mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arrecifes and the Pucho87 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Arrecifes's Eloy Bide got a free kick in the 67th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciriaco Peli in the 68th minute of play forced Arrecifes's goalkeeper Patricio Medardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 71 minutes of play, Pucho87's Eugenio Osoro made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patricio Medardo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 75 minutes into the match, Arrecifes's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Osoro came free, but Patricio Medardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Narciso Estebe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Jacobo Veremundo made a huge save. Patricio Medardo came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Pucho87's Ciriaco Peli. But to his dismay, Ciriaco Peli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. A collision led to Pucho87 getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Nicolas Loco hit a great ball. After 88 minutes, Israel Endura mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arrecifes and the Pucho87 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Israel Endura kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Ciriaco Peli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Patricio Medardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rigoberto Mirande during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
