The audience thought a goal was coming when Victorio Estefan got free with Zeledon Iraitz in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Victorio Estefan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zeledon Iraitz was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. In the 15th minute, GRAN MALVINA's Victorio Estefan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. If Victorio Estefan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute Mario Aresti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Iraitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zeledon Iraitz made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Victorio Estefan sent off a good shot on target. Mario Aresti struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Zeledon Iraitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GRAN MALVINA. Zeledon Iraitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Aresti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Estudiantes F. C.'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Abelardo Loco 29 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Herminio Abadia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Iraitz having to interfere. C. booed when GRAN MALVINA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herminio Abadia didn't get a good kick on the ball. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
