Aquilino Peru hit a great ball. When the match had been going on for 14 minutes, Estudiantes F. C.'s Aquiles Urtsin got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jacobo Veremundo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Ayala in the 26th minute of play forced Pucho87's goalkeeper Jacobo Veremundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Pucho87's Jacobo Veremundo got control of the ball when Ovidio Chayo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zeledon Iraitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Osoro in the 34th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciriaco Peli in the 38th minute of play forced Estudiantes F. C.'s goalkeeper Zeledon Iraitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eugenio Osoro scored 2-1 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zeledon Iraitz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Angel Ayala made a kick off. Angel Ayala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Jacobo Veremundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angel Ayala in the 61st minute of play. 63 minutes into the game, Angel Ayala cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Jacobo Veremundo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zeledon Iraitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenio Osoro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angel Ayala scored 4-2 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobo Veremundo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ciriaco Peli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With splendid footwork Eugenio Osoro arrived in front of goal to shoot 4-3 by the left pole in the game's 82nd minute. 87 minutes into the match, Pucho87's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Ayala came free, but Jacobo Veremundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fermin Chucho in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Veremundo saved Pucho87 from getting behind. Estudiantes F. C.'s Zeledon Iraitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Estudiantes F. C. from getting a goal against them. Eugenio Osoro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Iraitz having to interfere. In the 99th minute, Ovidio Chayo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Estudiantes F. C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
