Spectators: 7256 (Terracing: 5443, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Angel Ayala kicked off to start the match. After 3 played minutes Estudiantes F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Florentino Figueroa. Benigno Constancio, 4 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Estudiantes F. C.'s Zeledon Iraitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateo Bartuelo in the 6th minute of play. In the 6th minute, Fermin Chucho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th minute, Mateo Bartuelo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Lucio Menendo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bartolo Hanni during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bartolo Hanni hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the match, DOPING POSITIVO's goal looked a bit too open when Ovidio Chayo came free, but Blas Azeari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, Juan Oxarra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Estudiantes F. C.'s Angel Ayala in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye DOPING POSITIVO's goalie prevented a goal. Blas Azeari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florentino Figueroa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucio Menendo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Iraitz having to interfere. Angel Ayala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Blas Azeari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Angel Ayala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mateo Bartuelo made a kick off. After 53 played minutes DOPING POSITIVO got a freekick which was hit by Benicio Mendiko. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angel Ayala in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Blas Azeari saved DOPING POSITIVO from getting behind. Ovidio Chayo had several of the DOPING POSITIVO's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 56 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Blas Azeari as he didn't even see the shot coming. When DOPING POSITIVO's Lucio Menendo in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Estudiantes F. C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Lucio Menendo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zeledon Iraitz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mateo Bartuelo's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Zeledon Iraitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucio Menendo, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Zeledon Iraitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateo Bartuelo in the 76th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the game, Florentino Figueroa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Estudiantes F. C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DOPING POSITIVO the free kick. Mateo Bartuelo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Angel Ayala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blas Azeari having to interfere. Florentino Figueroa got his second yellow card in the match during the 89th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucio Menendo in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zeledon Iraitz saved Estudiantes F. C. from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in DOPING POSITIVO's zone, Ovidio Chayo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blas Azeari came out of the goal and Ovidio Chayo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mateo Bartuelo charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mateo Bartuelo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Elpidio Aritza hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Estudiantes F. C.'s Zeledon Iraitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benigno Constancio in the 98th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
