In the 2nd minute, Eugenio Osoro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 7 played minutes GRAN MALVINA got a freekick which was hit by Ciriaco Guillem. In the 8th minute of the match Edgardo Peruxu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Viktor Pindev skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of GRAN MALVINA booed when Pucho87 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquilino Peru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Victorio Estefan could shoot a difficult shot in the 16th minute, which Jacobo Veremundo however easily saved by the left post. After 17 played minutes GRAN MALVINA got a freekick which was hit by Ciriaco Guillem. Pucho87's Jacobo Veremundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Aresti in the 21st minute of play. Mario Aresti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Veremundo having to interfere. After a rather tough play, GRAN MALVINA's Ciriaco Guillem got a free kick in the 23rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Omar Menendo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jacobo Veremundo. That made the score 1-0 in the 26 minute of play. If Mario Aresti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anastasio Arotza's late challenge caught a GRAN MALVINA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anastasio Arotza helped the player get up and apologised. Anastasio Arotza hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Victorio Estefan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Jacobo Veremundo made a huge save. Victorio Estefan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Mario Aresti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Viktor Pindev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciriaco Peli, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

52 minutes into the game, GRAN MALVINA's Mario Aresti nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacobo Veremundo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Jacobo Veremundo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorio Estefan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mario Aresti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Herminio Abadia hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Jacobo Veremundo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abelardo Loco, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Victorio Estefan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abelardo Loco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Veremundo having to interfere. Mario Aresti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacobo Veremundo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Jacobo Veremundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Aresti in the 91st minute of play. When Victorio Estefan came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the GRAN MALVINA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victorio Estefan couldn't finish the play. GRAN MALVINA's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
