In the 11th minute Mario Aresti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artemio Magdaleno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artemio Magdaleno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorio Estefan in the 15th minute of play. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Victorio Estefan sped through Manantiales's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Artemio Magdaleno. Mario Aresti scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Artemio Magdaleno, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alejandro Txema during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Uriel Estebano kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Artemio Magdaleno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorio Estefan in the 30th minute of the match. Victorio Estefan scored 0-3 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Artemio Magdaleno, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mario Aresti struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Artemio Magdaleno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GRAN MALVINA. Mario Aresti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Omar Menendo's late challenge caught a Manantiales's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Omar Menendo helped the player get up and apologised. Omar Menendo hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Nemesio Gonzalez from long distance, 47 minutes into the match, got Viktor Pindev's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Uriel Estebano was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Uriel Estebano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Viktor Pindev. GRAN MALVINA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Uriel Estebano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. In the 59th minute, one of Manantiales:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Manantiales. 66 minutes in the game, Abelardo Loco fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Artemio Magdaleno having to interfere. A collision led to GRAN MALVINA getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Victorio Estefan hit a great ball. Artemio Magdaleno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abelardo Loco, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Mario Aresti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Manantiales's Artemio Magdaleno got control of the ball when Victorio Estefan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Artemio Magdaleno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Aresti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victorio Estefan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artemio Magdaleno having to interfere. After 82 minutes of play, GRAN MALVINA's Victorio Estefan made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Artemio Magdaleno was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 92 minutes, Mario Aresti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GRAN MALVINA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mario Aresti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute, GRAN MALVINA's Mario Aresti ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Artemio Magdaleno. Artemio Magdaleno yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. GRAN MALVINA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
