Tinogasta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fermin Nahia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edelmiro Thomas struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Leopoldo Ortle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cangrejilla FC. Gilberto Guter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernan Txomin in the 15th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, Cangrejilla FC's Edelmiro Thomas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leopoldo Ortle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Edelmiro Thomas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Ortle having to interfere. Fermin Nahia's late challenge caught a Cangrejilla FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fermin Nahia helped the player get up and apologised. Igor Chale kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. The Cangrejilla FC fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Cangrejilla FC's Igor Chale looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Tinogasta's zone, Igor Chale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leopoldo Ortle came out of the goal and Igor Chale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Igor Chale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee felt a red card was in order, 46 minutes into the game, when Cornelio Lucado put in a rough tackle. 45 minutes into the game, one of Tinogasta:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Igor Chale was the one to do the kick off. Leopoldo Ortle made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Edelmiro Thomas sent off a good shot on target. Leopoldo Ortle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Chale, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tinogasta's goalkeeper Leopoldo Ortle, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fermin Nahia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Guter having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Cangrejilla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fermin Nahia came free, but Gilberto Guter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fermin Nahia kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. If Igor Chale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cangrejilla FC played a much better game than Tinogasta and deserved their victory. The Tinogasta players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
