Leopoldo Ortle made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Dionisio Palos sent off a good shot on target. An unexpected shot in the 16th minute by Dionisio Palos got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ignacio Haitz was extremely unlucky when he, in the 21st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 23rd minute, Ignacio Haitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fabricio Bernal's late challenge caught a Tinogasta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabricio Bernal helped the player get up and apologised. Fabricio Bernal hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Cristo Perico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernan Txomin, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 35 minutes into the match, Urdampilleta's goal looked a bit too open when Fernan Raitin came free, but Cristo Perico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Tinogasta's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Haitz came free, but Leopoldo Ortle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hernan Txomin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Cristo Perico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dionisio Palos got free with Leopoldo Ortle in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fermin Nahia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Cristo Perico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The wind increased when Hernan Txomin made the kick off in the second half. Ignacio Haitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Ortle having to interfere. Dionisio Palos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 55th minute Ignacio Haitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Ortle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, Cornelio Lucado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tinogasta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Urdampilleta the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tinogasta fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 56th minute. Penalty! Gavino Uhin shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After 61 played minutes Tinogasta got a freekick which was hit by Fernan Raitin. Leopoldo Ortle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Haitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ignacio Haitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Ortle having to interfere. Ignacio Haitz took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leopoldo Ortle. Leopoldo Ortle dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Leopoldo Ortle stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ignacio Haitz's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Fermin Nahia who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Cristo Perico when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Urdampilleta getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Leandro Estebe hit a great ball. Hernan Txomin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristo Perico having to make a save. 80 minutes into the game, Tinogasta's Fermin Nahia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristo Perico made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 84th minute, Amador Cuarto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Dionisio Palos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amador Cuarto kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dionisio Palos in the 88th minute of play forced Tinogasta's goalkeeper Leopoldo Ortle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the game, Marcelo Cordeiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Leopoldo Ortle was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. For all the effort they put into the match, the Tinogasta players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Urdampilleta.
