Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juan Matai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan Matai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Horacio Jon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florencio Urtzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan Matai struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Horacio Jon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cadetes de San Martin. If Florencio Urtzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juan Matai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Jon having to interfere. After having played for 48 minutes, Apolo Ramirez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Seguí AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Apolo Ramirez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Apolo Ramirez to make the kick off. Bruno Romano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apolo Ramirez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Horacio Jon made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Juan Matai sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Cadetes de San Martin's zone, Apolo Ramirez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Romano came out of the goal and Apolo Ramirez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Apolo Ramirez came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Seguí AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Apolo Ramirez couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 81st minute of the game. One of Seguí AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cadetes de San Martin:s goal. The goalkeeper, Horacio Jon, was totally fooled by Cadetes de San Martin's Damaso Hernando, who 84 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 90th match minute, Seguí AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Cordeara to maneuver through the defense. Seguí AFC's Horacio Jon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florencio Urtzi in the 93rd minute of play. Jonatan Sesuldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cadetes de San Martin's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
