The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ildefonso Checa to strike the kick off in the second half. Demon Slayer's Reynaldo Estebano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonzo Amaya in the 55th minute of play. Silvano Ireno was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Cecilio Goito capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cecilio Goito really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Silvano Ireno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ildefonso Checa in the 61st minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo De Almagro's goalkeeper Silvano Ireno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cecilio Goito. Cecilio Goito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Silvano Ireno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. During the 66th minute of the match Fausto Sayveon completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Fausto Sayveon a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a defensive mix-up in San Lorenzo De Almagro's zone, Ildefonso Checa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvano Ireno came out of the goal and Ildefonso Checa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Cecilio Goito got free in front of the goal in the 73rd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Silvano Ireno was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Silvano Ireno made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Cecilio Goito sent off a good shot on target. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by San Lorenzo De Almagro's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Baltasar Matro was slow to take the kick. During this time Demon Slayer's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Demon Slayer's corner Baltasar Matro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Silvano Ireno quite easily take care of the ball. After 80 minutes, Cecilio Goito made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. San Lorenzo De Almagro's Silvano Ireno tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 85th minute, Ildefonso Checa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Isaias Silvanito hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Ildefonso Checa struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Silvano Ireno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Demon Slayer. Cecilio Goito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvano Ireno having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Demon Slayer's Cecilio Goito dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3.
