The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rodolfo Terciero to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Deportivo Gambeta's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Cucao came free, but Edelmiro Acevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 61 minutes into the game, C.E.A. Don Bosco's Rodolfo Terciero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edelmiro Acevedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Gambeta's zone, Leopoldo Cucao stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edelmiro Acevedo came out of the goal and Leopoldo Cucao tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pascual Edorta kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 71st minute Rodolfo Terciero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edelmiro Acevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Terciero in the 74th minute of play forced Deportivo Gambeta's goalkeeper Edelmiro Acevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Marcelino Jaen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edelmiro Acevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Gambeta's Benito Urtun got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 87th minute, Dionisio Palban sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Deportivo Gambeta's Edelmiro Acevedo didn't even have to move. In the 92nd minute, Valentin Inko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 95th minute, Tomas Chayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The C.E.A. Don Bosco fans cheered their team off the field, for while Deportivo Gambeta had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
