Don Bosco's Amancio Primo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafin Jerrold in the 34th minute of play. After 37 played minutes Deportivo Gambeta got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Chayo. Marcelino Jaen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edelmiro Acevedo having to make a save. Edelmiro Acevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Terciero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the C.E.A. Don Bosco defense, Valentin Inko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amancio Primo. The C.E.A. Don Bosco fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amancio Primo should have stopped the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Serafin Jerrold was the one to do the kick off. Amancio Primo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Inko, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 58th minute, Serafin Jerrold got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valentin Inko struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Amancio Primo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Gambeta. If Celso Natal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eleuterio Venceslao during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dionisio Palban took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Edelmiro Acevedo. Deportivo Gambeta's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Amancio Primo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Inko in the 74th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as C.E.A. Don Bosco's Rodolfo Terciero slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edelmiro Acevedo. That made the score 2-3 after 80 minutes of play. Serafin Jerrold's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amancio Primo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Deportivo Gambeta's goal looked a bit too open when Celso Natal came free, but Edelmiro Acevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Edelmiro Acevedo managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when C.E.A. Don Bosco's Rodolfo Terciero fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
