The supporters of Tacuarendí AFC booed when C.A.Malvinas Argentinas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelino Pacho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardino Oinatz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melquiades Ramos in the 9th minute of the match. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A.Malvinas Argentinas's goalkeeper Bernardino Oinatz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bernardino Oinatz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melquiades Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tacuarendí AFC's goalkeeper Armando Jaizki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Esteban Errando kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Clemente Flores managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tacuarendí AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Clemente Flores was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardino Oinatz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Melquiades Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Tacuarendí AFC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Esteban Errando hit a great ball. Armando Jaizki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Gutierrez in the 34th minute of play. Armando Jaizki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafino Opilano, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute.

The wind increased when Serafino Opilano made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nereo Gutierrez got free with Armando Jaizki in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nereo Gutierrez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 57 played minutes Tacuarendí AFC got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Flores. Armando Jaizki made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Nereo Gutierrez sent off a good shot on target. When Serafino Opilano came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the C.A.Malvinas Argentinas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serafino Opilano couldn't finish the play. Armando Jaizki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafino Opilano, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Esteban Errando's late challenge caught a C.A.Malvinas Argentinas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Esteban Errando helped the player get up and apologised.
