Pascual Lauren's late challenge caught a Deportivo Gambeta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 7 played minutes Weed F.C got a freekick which was hit by Nunez Ruy. 16 minutes into the game, Pascual Edorta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Gambeta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Weed F.C the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Gambeta's zone, Primitivo Ferman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edelmiro Acevedo came out of the goal and Primitivo Ferman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Serafin Jerrold's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ciro Bermudez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Weed F.C's zone, Valentin Inko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciro Bermudez came out of the goal and Valentin Inko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valentin Inko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Ciro Bermudez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute Serafin Jerrold shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Bermudez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 33 minutes Weed F.C's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dionisio Goren who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Dionisio Goren got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ciro Bermudez quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 36 minutes into the match, Valentin Inko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ciro Bermudez. Weed F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valentin Inko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Valentin Inko took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ciro Bermudez. Ciro Bermudez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Nunez Ruy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Weed F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Nunez Ruy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edelmiro Acevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Serafin Jerrold stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Primitivo Ferman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Serafin Jerrold came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Deportivo Gambeta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serafin Jerrold couldn't finish the play. Ciro Bermudez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Inko in the 71st minute of the match. In the 74th match minute, Deportivo Gambeta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascual Edorta to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Primitivo Ferman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Weed F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Primitivo Ferman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
