Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alfonso Otsando got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, ELZORROTEAM's goalkeeper Pedro Reno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Horacio Vachon. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfonso Otsando in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonardo Oriche prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 8 played minutes Achiras AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Abar. Ovidio Berbiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Pedro Reno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the game, Tobias Gutxi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ELZORROTEAM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Achiras AFC the free kick. Tobias Gutxi hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute, Ramon Mon sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and ELZORROTEAM's Pedro Reno didn't even have to move. When Gavino Manex fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ELZORROTEAM's protests and gave Gavino Manex a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st minute, Gavino Manex hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the game, Achiras AFC's Horacio Vachon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Reno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Horacio Vachon might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Reno. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Horacio Vachon ran back to his position shaking his head. Ovidio Berbiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Reno having to interfere. 41 minutes into the game, Cleto Perico was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ELZORROTEAM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Achiras AFC the free kick. If Horacio Vachon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tobias Gutxi kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

ELZORROTEAM's Alfonso Otsando got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 58th minute Ovidio Berbiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Reno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Achiras AFC booed when ELZORROTEAM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Rutenio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tobias Gutxi got his second yellow card in the match during the 64th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 65 played minutes ELZORROTEAM got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Gutxi. 67 minutes into the match, Achiras AFC's Ovidio Berbiz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Reno narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Horacio Vachon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Pedro Reno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 70 minutes into the game, Achiras AFC's Ovidio Berbiz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Francisco Cordeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Ovidio Berbiz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Reno. ELZORROTEAM's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ovidio Berbiz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. In the 86th match minute, Achiras AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lázaro Eli to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ovidio Berbiz in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Reno saved ELZORROTEAM from getting behind. Horacio Vachon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Reno read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Ovidio Berbiz struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Pedro Reno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Achiras AFC.
