Norberto Luar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Spacta FC. In the 7th minute Hector Theobald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Mikelar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hector Theobald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Adolfo Mikelar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Spacta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Gomesano came free, but Adolfo Mikelar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adolfo Mikelar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Theobald in the 15th minute of play. Felipe Gomesano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adolfo Mikelar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Basilio Theodore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28thth minute of the game Edgardo Tercero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Funebrero FC's Norberto Luar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Hector Theobald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Spacta FC's zone, Felipe Gomesano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adolfo Mikelar came out of the goal and Felipe Gomesano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edgardo Tercero to strike the kick off in the second half. When Abel Cordarrell came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Funebrero FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abel Cordarrell couldn't finish the play. Norberto Luar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basilio Theodore in the 56th minute of play. In the 59th match minute, Funebrero FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Haritzeder to maneuver through the defense. In the 60thth minute of the game Basilio Theodore who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Funebrero FC's Norberto Luar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Funebrero FC's Felipe Gomesano got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 66 minutes into the match, Spacta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Gomesano came free, but Adolfo Mikelar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgardo Tercero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Luar having to interfere. With a little luck, Spacta FC's Adolfo Mikelar got control of the ball when Hector Theobald tried to sneak it across the goal line. Felipe Gomesano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bartolo Berart hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Felipe Gomesano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Spacta FC's Raimundo Gaspard got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Adolfo Mikelar made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Hector Theobald sent off a good shot on target. If Felipe Gomesano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hector Theobald could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Adolfo Mikelar made a huge save. After 88 minutes, Elvio Romildo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Spacta FC and the Funebrero FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Spacta FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Elvio Romildo hit a great ball. A collision led to Funebrero FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Abel Cordarrell hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Funebrero FC defense, Bartolo Berart kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Norberto Luar. The Funebrero FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Norberto Luar should have stopped the shot.
