Spectators: 7102 (Terracing: 5390, Seating: 1652, VIP seats: 60) After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Froilan Karmel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saladero FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Froilan Karmel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norberto Luar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hector Theobald blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gavino Eskuin having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hector Theobald got free with Gavino Eskuin in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Felipe Gomesano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Saladero FC's Gavino Eskuin got control of the ball when Hector Theobald tried to sneak it across the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Hector Theobald cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Gavino Eskuin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Saladero FC's attentive Diego Niva managed to snatch the ball when Santos Cordarrell made a throw-in in the 19th minute of the game. Hector Theobald kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the game, Julio Haritzeder recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gavino Eskuin. Julio Haritzeder showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Felipe Gomesano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gavino Eskuin made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Abel Cordarrell sent off a good shot on target. Saladero FC's Froilan Karmel got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, Saladero FC's Diego Niva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Norberto Luar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Felipe Gomesano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Norberto Luar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Froilan Karmel in the 44th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Funebrero FC's Cayetano Quinto got a free kick in the 46th minute.

In the 53rd minute Funebrero FC were awarded a corner. Emilio Telo went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Funebrero FC's Emilio Telo to fire away a dangerous shot which Gavino Eskuin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Saladero FC's Severo Peyo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Norberto Luar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Saladero FC's Diego Niva managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Cayetano Quinto in the 59 minute of the game. In the 62nd minute Julio Haritzeder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Eskuin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elias Martxel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The throw-in from Cayetano Quinto in the 79th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Saladero FC's Diego Niva. In the 82nd minute Hector Theobald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Eskuin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hector Theobald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavino Eskuin having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Saladero FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Gomesano came free, but Gavino Eskuin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gavino Eskuin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Theobald in the 88th minute of the match. Saladero FC's Diego Niva quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Santos Cordarrell, made in the 92nd minute of the game. If Diego Niva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Many of Saladero FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Saladero FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Funebrero FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
