An unexpectedly hard shot by Dalmacio Ruy in the 35th minute of play forced Club Atletico Pinocho's goalkeeper Nereo Udalaitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Omar Henry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Omar Henry blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nereo Udalaitz having to make a save. 42 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Pinocho's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Henry came free, but Nereo Udalaitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Omar Henry in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nereo Udalaitz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Dalmacio Ruy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Capioví were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Ildefonso Corderall charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ildefonso Corderall the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aristides Taurino hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match.
